Jingle Cruise Returns To Magic Kingdom On November 3

Jingle Cruise holiday overlay at Magic Kingdom

Jingle Cruise returns to Magic Kingdom on Tuesday, November 3, when Walt Disney World switches Jungle Cruise in Adventureland over to its holiday version for the season. The overlay arrives ahead of the first night of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and before the resort’s holiday season officially begins.

It is the same start date the overlay had last year, and one day later than in 2024, when it opened on November 2. Jingle Cruise first sailed at Magic Kingdom in 2013, and it has become a fixture of the park’s holiday season.

What Changes On The River

The route through the rivers of the world stays the same. What changes is the story, the script and the scenery. Disney’s setup is that the homesick skippers have decked out the boathouse and beyond with holiday decorations that were mailed to them or that they made themselves, and they unwrap a few holiday jokes along the way to get everyone in the spirit. Disney calls it a “festive-yet-familiar adventure from stem to stern.”

The sign out front gets the holiday treatment too, with the attraction renamed Jingle Cruise for the season. The boats pick up holiday names, the queue is decorated, and the skippers dress for the occasion. If you have ridden Jungle Cruise a dozen times, this is the version that makes it feel new again each holiday season.

How It Lines Up With The Holiday Parties

The November 3 start gives Jingle Cruise a five-day head start on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which runs 25 select nights from November 8 to December 22. Party nights run from 7 p.m. to midnight, so the overlay will already be in its first week when the first party guests arrive.

The November party nights are the 8th, 9th, 12th, 13th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 20th, 24th, 25th, 27th and 29th. Demand has been strong, and November 24 became the first Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party date to sell out for 2026.

Planning Your Ride

Jingle Cruise is part of regular Magic Kingdom admission, so anyone in the park can ride it during operating hours. The switch happens overnight with no downtime, so guests who visit before November 3 will still find the standard Jungle Cruise running in Adventureland. Anyone hoping to compare the two can ride the regular version through November 2 and the holiday version from November 3 on.

Disney has not announced when this year’s run ends. Last season, Jingle Cruise sailed through January 1, and the regular Jungle Cruise came back on January 2.
