Percy Jackson is taking Season 3 to Italy. Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri will appear at Lucca Comics & Games later this month to show unseen footage from Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3, which premieres November 20 on Disney+.

Executive producers Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz are making the trip too. The group will hold a panel and Q&A with new clips on October 30 at 10 a.m. local time (2 a.m. PT) at the Teatro del Giglio, and the festival says seats must be reserved in advance.

A Big Stop On The Season 3 Tour

Lucca is billed as the biggest pop culture festival in Europe and is held inside the 16th-century walls of a medieval town in Tuscany. Giovanni Cova, whose Milan marketing company QMI runs the festival’s film and TV programming, told Variety the festival is “absolutely delighted to have Disney’s support and to serve as a key stop on a major promotional tour, in this case, for ‘Percy Jackson.'” He sees Lucca as an essential stage for unveiling major series that debut in the fall.

Cova also pointed to what sets Lucca apart from a traditional film festival: there is no layer of press and industry between the show and the audience. Talent meets fans directly, and photos from those appearances spread quickly online.

What To Know About Season 3

Season 3 adapts The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s bestselling Disney Hyperion series, and marks the first time that story has reached the screen. Percy faces the sudden disappearance of Annabeth and a Great Prophecy from the Oracle of Delphi: one demigod child of the Big Three gods, Zeus, Poseidon and Hades, is fated to raise Olympus to new heights or bring it crashing down, with their own life on the line.

Scobell returns as Percy, Jeffries as Annabeth Chase and Simhadri as Grover Underwood. Charlie Bushnell is back as Luke Castellan, Tamara Smart plays Thalia Grace, and Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie play siblings Nico and Bianca di Angelo.

Most of that group was in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con in July, where the November 20 date was announced and fans got to see the opening act of the Season 3 premiere. Jeffries missed that panel while filming The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen overseas and sent a video message instead. In Lucca, she will be on stage with Scobell and Simhadri, and the festival is promising clips no one has seen yet.

Disney+ will release Season 3 two episodes a week, starting November 20. The Lucca panel lands three weeks before the premiere.
