Disney Vacation Club is giving guests a sneak peek at one of Walt Disney World’s most beloved hidden retreats. The Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort are getting a series of charming new enhancements rolling out over the next few months, and the Disney Parks Blog has shared an exclusive first look at the refreshed interiors.
A Secluded Escape Gets Even Better
Tucked away along the woodlands of the Sassagoula River, the Treehouse Villas are three-bedroom hideaways offering space, privacy, and tranquility in an elevated, secluded setting among the trees. They have long been a favorite among Disney Vacation Club members looking for something a little different from a standard hotel room.
The reimagined design keeps that beloved character while adding a fresh, polished feel. Drawing inspiration from New England-style craftsmanship and the timeless artistry of the Arts and Crafts movement, the refreshed look ties the playful charm of the Treehouse Villas to the traditional elegance of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. Expect warm, natural finishes throughout.
What’s New Inside
A rich color palette and natural finishes like wood and stone help create an inviting retreat that feels connected to nature. All-new furniture, fixtures, and finishes bring a fresh look to the living and dining areas, while the core layout that makes these villas so functional for families stays intact.
Each villa sleeps up to nine guests and features a full kitchen, in-room washer and dryer, and private decks where families can gather and enjoy the surrounding scenery. For larger groups, these villas remain one of the best-value options on Walt Disney World property.
Disney Storytelling Woven Throughout
The enhancements go beyond new furniture. Disney storytelling remains at the heart of the Treehouse Villas, thoughtfully woven into the new design through Arts and Crafts-inspired decorative details. From throw pillows to lampshades, organic elements like botanicals and animal motifs inspired by classic characters appear throughout the textiles.
Fans who look closely will be rewarded. More than a dozen beloved nature scenes and characters from Disney Animation films and shorts are featured throughout. Timeless stories like The Fox and the Hound and Sleeping Beauty are brought to life through wall murals and fine art paintings, while familiar friends from Cinderella appear carved into the furnishings and perched high above, tucked into the architecture.
When Can Guests Experience the New Look?
The reimagined Treehouse Villas will begin to debut over the next few months, with the full renovation expected to be completed later this year. Disney has not announced a specific completion date, so guests booking stays in the coming months may have a chance to experience the updated villas as they roll out.
For DVC members and families looking for a one-of-a-kind Walt Disney World stay, the Treehouse Villas at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort have always offered something truly special. This reimagining looks to make them even better.
