Shanghai Disney Resort has officially named its upcoming third hotel. The new property will be called the Enchanted Star Hotel and is set to open this winter, according to Laughing Place, which covered the announcement made during Shanghai Disneyland’s 10th anniversary celebrations on Monday.
The Enchanted Star Hotel will join the existing Shanghai Disneyland Hotel and Toy Story Hotel at the resort. The addition of a third hotel reflects the continued growth and success of Shanghai Disney Resort, which has seen strong attendance since opening a decade ago.
Shanghai Disneyland’s 10th Anniversary
Monday’s announcement came as part of a major 10th anniversary event at the resort. Former Disney CEO Bob Iger, who was instrumental in making Shanghai Disneyland a reality, was on hand for the celebration and was presented with a special gift: a replica of the top spire of the park’s Enchanted Storybook Castle, recognizing his role in bringing the resort to life.
The Enchanted Star Hotel is expected to open winter 2026.
