Thanksgiving character dining returns to two Disneyland Resort hotels this year, and reservations open Thursday, October 15. Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel and Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will both serve Thanksgiving brunch and dinner on Thursday, November 26, 2026.
Disneyland has posted the date, the booking day and a short description of each meal on the restaurants’ pages. Prices, hours and menus for 2026 are not up yet, so last year’s numbers are the best guide for now if you are budgeting.
Goofy’s Kitchen Brings Out The Fall Attire
At the Disneyland Hotel, Thanksgiving Day at Goofy’s Kitchen is a brunch or dinner with holiday favorites and seasonal desserts. Goofy and friends host, and Disney says some favorite Disney pals will stop by in their fall attire.
In 2025, brunch ran from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at $69 for adults and $39 for kids, and dinner ran from 1:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at $89 for adults and $42 for kids, Mickey Visit reported. Both meals had a carving station with turkey breast and maple-glazed pork belly, and the price included Disney PhotoPass downloads and a limited-edition holiday button. Disney has not said whether the prices or the extras will be the same this year.
Mickey And Scrooge Host At Storytellers Cafe
Over at the Grand Californian, Storytellers Cafe’s Thanksgiving Day Brunch & Dinner brings together Mickey Mouse, Scrooge McDuck and other Disney friends for what Disney calls a bountiful feast of harvest-inspired fare.
Last year Storytellers matched Goofy’s Kitchen on both hours and prices. Dinner featured roasted turkey with sourdough apple stuffing, braised beef brisket and a prime rib carving station that also showed up at brunch, Laughing Place reported.
What To Know Before You Book
Reservations for both restaurants open October 15, six weeks before Thanksgiving. Last year, both meals opened for booking on the same day, October 9.
Both restaurants also have holiday character meals running November 16 through January 3, 2027: Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays! at the Disneyland Hotel, and Mickey’s Christmas Carol Feast and Daisy’s Holiday Pajama Party at Storytellers Cafe.
