The Proud family is getting ready to say goodbye. Disney+ has released a new trailer for the fourth and final season of The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, giving fans their first look at the farewell run of the beloved animated revival ahead of its July 29 premiere.
One Last Round With The Prouds
The new trailer teases plenty of the show’s signature blend of family chaos, hijinks, and heartfelt moments as Penny Proud and her crew head into their final batch of episodes. Season four picks up after the last season’s life-changing turning point, with Penny pulled into a series of unexpected adventures that test her courage and identity, from Suga Mama hitting the roller derby rink to an encounter with a legendary lake creature. The revival has been a standout of the Disney+ animation lineup since it premiered in 2022, bringing back the voice cast of the original 2001 Disney Channel series while introducing the Prouds to an entirely new generation.
The season is also packed with star power, featuring the return of Mariah Carey to the franchise more than 20 years after she first lent her voice to the original series, alongside guest appearances from the likes of Chloe Bailey, Lashana Lynch, Ali Wong, and JB Smoove. Louder and Prouder has never shied away from growing with its audience either, tackling contemporary storylines while keeping the multigenerational family comedy that made the original a classic.
The End Of An Era For Disney+ Animation
The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder wrapping up marks the end of one of Disney+’s longest-running original animated series, arriving just ahead of the franchise’s 25th anniversary. It is not quite the last we will see of the Prouds this year, though, as a stop-motion holiday special titled A Proud Family Wizmas is set to debut on Disney+ later in 2026.
