Holland did not reveal which theories are on the money, but the comment alone is enough to send the Marvel fandom into overdrive.
Holland also offered some broader teases about the film itself, describing it as a story where the stakes have never been higher and never more personal for Peter Parker. Holland also confirmed that Brand New Day features a significant number of villains, including both returning faces and at least one making their debut in the MCU.
