Speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Holland offered a cryptic tease about how the film’s title pays off. “The brand-new day of this movie, it isn’t the beginning. It’s in the last frame of this movie,” Holland said. In other words, the fresh start the title promises may not describe where Peter Parker begins this story, but where the film leaves him, setting up whatever comes next for the wall-crawler in the aftermath of No Way Home’s memory-wiping finale.
Holland has been on an entertaining press tour tightrope for weeks, recently admitting that some fan theories about the film are surprisingly close to the truth.
