The VisionQuest season finale arrives on Disney+ on Tuesday, November 10, at 6 p.m. PT (9 p.m. ET), and Marvel Television released a trailer for it on Thursday. The teaser promises “one final surprise” as Paul Bettany’s Vision heads into the last episode of the series that closes out the trilogy WandaVision started in 2021.

The finale is the eighth and last episode of the season. VisionQuest premiered in October with two episodes at a time before moving to a single new episode each week, so anyone who has fallen behind has a few days to catch up. Episodes 1 and 2 arrived on October 13, episodes 3 and 4 followed on October 20, episodes 5 and 6 came on October 27, and episode 7 landed on November 3.

Where VisionQuest Leaves Vision

The series picks up with a rebooted Vision in hiding after escaping the people who wanted to use him as a weapon. He talks things through with the AI personalities stored in his programming, including J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H. and Ultron, played again by James Spader. Then a bounty is put on his head, and he ends up on the run with Thomas Shepherd, a teenager who may be Vision’s son reborn.

That puts a lot on the finale. Vision has to resist Ultron’s influence and solve the mystery of his young companion if he wants to come out of this in one piece. Marvel has kept the details of the ending quiet, and the finale teaser keeps them that way.

The End Of A Trilogy

VisionQuest is the third show in a run that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along in 2024. WandaVision tore apart Wanda and Vision’s sitcom life in Westview. Agatha All Along sent Agatha Harkness down the Witches’ Road with a teen who turned out to be tied to the Maximoff family. VisionQuest finally gives Vision his own story. Bettany and Spader unveiled its first trailer together at D23 in August, and Vision and Ultron share much of the season.

Bettany has been open about how much the role took out of him. He recently said he blew out 10 blood vessels in his eye while overacting one VisionQuest scene.

How To Watch The Finale

The finale streams only on Disney+. On the West Coast that means dinnertime on Tuesday, and East Coast viewers get it at 9 p.m. All seven earlier episodes are already on the service, along with WandaVision and Agatha All Along for anyone who wants to watch the whole trilogy in order before Tuesday night.
