Walt Disney World’s 55th anniversary merchandise is on shelves ahead of the resort’s birthday on Thursday, October 1. The 17 pieces spotted at EPCOT’s Creations Shop run from a $3.99 postcard to $69.99 hoodies, with a retro look that calls back to the resort’s 1971 opening year.
“55 Magical Years” runs across many of the designs, along with the anniversary logo that hides a Mickey silhouette in its two fives.

The blue pullover hoodie pairs Main Street Mickey with logos for all four parks, and the backpack carries the park and anniversary logos. The white zip-up puts the Fab 5 on the back in outfits inspired by Magic Kingdom’s lands, and the Opening Day Attractions tee lists each land’s attractions on the back.
The Mickey plush is dressed as a Main Street, U.S.A. citizen and holds a 55th anniversary pennant. The ear headband has a sparkling royal blue bow, ears covered in park-inspired logos and fireworks on the back. The mug brings back the resort’s “Vacation Kingdom of the World” logo.
A Walt Disney World 55th Anniversary Dooney & Bourke tote and wallet sell for $318 and $198, with watercolor-style art of Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, The Hollywood Tower Hotel and the Tree of Life.

The Cinderella Doll And A Gift Card
The Cinderella Limited Edition Doll, Walt Disney World 55th Anniversary wears a gown inspired by Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, an opening day attraction, with golden “C” monograms and carrousel horses along the skirt hem. The edition is limited to 5,000 dolls. It has turned up in the parks with the collection and launches on DisneyStore.com on October 12 at 8 a.m. Pacific.
DisneyStore.com offers a Walt Disney World Resort 55th Anniversary physical gift card in $25, $50, $100, $150, $200 and $500 denominations. The art shows Mickey in a striped Main Street outfit, tipping his hat in front of Cinderella Castle with icons for the other three parks.
