The Banana Ball Open is coming to Walt Disney World. All six Banana Ball teams, including the Savannah Bananas, will head to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex from April 15 to 18, 2027, with four of them competing in the Open, bringing the sport’s fast, costumed version of baseball back to Disney for a second straight year.

The dates were revealed during the Banana Ball City Selection Show, which aired live on ESPN2 and the Banana Ball YouTube channel. The full announcement is on the Disney Parks Blog.

Six Teams, One Open

Six teams are set to make the trip to Central Florida: the Savannah Bananas, the Firefighters, the Party Animals, the Loco Beach Coconuts, the Indianapolis Clowns and the Texas Tailgaters. Four of them, the top four teams in the league, will compete in the Open itself.

Games will be played in The Stadium, the complex’s main ballpark. It holds more than 9,500 fans and has four luxury sky boxes along with open-air suites, so there is room for a big crowd even with tickets sold through a lottery.

If you missed it the first time, this is the same show that came to Disney when Banana Ball made its Walt Disney World debut last May with the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Party Animals. Disney characters are part of the pitch. The announcement photos show Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto and Stitch posing with players from the teams, and Banana Ball founder Jesse Cole appears alongside Mickey.

How To Get Tickets

You can’t just buy a seat. Banana Ball sells through a Ticket Lottery List, and you have to sign up at BananaBall.com before the list closes at 11:50 p.m. Eastern on October 31. Joining the list does not guarantee you a chance to buy; it enters you in a random drawing for the opportunity. If your name is drawn, you’ll be contacted directly with next steps for buying tickets.

Prices are simple once you get in. Standard tickets start at $35, and Meet and Greet tickets start at $100 each. There are no hidden fees and no tax on top of those prices, so the number you see is the number you pay.

If you are building a Walt Disney World trip around the games, get your lottery entry in before October 31 first, then lock in park days and a hotel once you know whether you have tickets. The event runs Thursday through Sunday, April 15 to 18, so a long weekend covers the whole Open.
