Tony’s Town Square Adds Lasagna As The Plaza Restaurant Gets A Steamboat Willie Shake

Tony's Town Square Restaurant at Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom’s Main Street table service restaurants have new dishes on their menus. Tony’s Town Square Restaurant added a Lasagna alla Bolognese, a plant-based Eggplant Parmigiana and a new house salad, while The Plaza Restaurant picked up a Steamboat Willie Milk Shake and a Chilled Shrimp Wedge Salad. Be Our Guest Restaurant in Fantasyland has new dishes too.

New At Tony’s Town Square Restaurant

Pasta is the draw at Tony’s, and the headline addition is a Lasagna alla Bolognese for $35. It is layered with meat sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan and Pecorino Romano, and it is served at both lunch and dinner.

Plant-based diners have a new entrée to try. The Eggplant Parmigiana is lightly breaded eggplant baked in Tony’s marinara sauce, topped with plant-based mozzarella and served with spaghetti for $32.

The Insalata della Casa rounds out the changes. It is a simple $12 starter of greens, radicchio, tomatoes, cucumber and pepperoncini tossed in balsamic vinaigrette, and like the two entrées it shows up on the allergy-friendly menu as well. You can see everything else Tony’s serves on our Main Street, U.S.A. menus page.

A Steamboat Willie Shake At The Plaza

Up at the end of Main Street, The Plaza Restaurant added a new milkshake named for Mickey’s 1928 debut short. The Steamboat Willie Milk Shake is hand-dipped cookies ‘n cream ice cream topped with whipped cream, cookies and cream churros, a sugar cookie and a cherry. It costs $13, and there is an allergy-friendly version too.

For something lighter before the shake, the new Chilled Shrimp Wedge Salad comes with hard-boiled egg, avocado purée, tomatoes, cracked pepper and Russian dressing for $23. Both are available at lunch and dinner, and the full lineup is on our Plaza Restaurant menu.

Be Our Guest Adds New Dishes

Be Our Guest is part of the refresh as well. Its prix fixe menu now lists a Beef Bourguignon en Croûte slow-cooked in red wine with potatoes, root vegetables, smoked bacon and bone marrow, and a new $10 add-on of House-cut French Fries with black garlic-truffle aioli and Parmesan. Our Fantasyland menus page has the rest of the restaurant’s offerings.

The new dishes arrived along with Walt Disney World’s October food price increase. At $35, the lasagna matches Tony’s Chicken Parmigiana and sits just under the $37 Salmon Piccata and Shrimp Scampi, while the Steamboat Willie shake costs $4 more than the Plaza’s regular $9 milkshakes.
