Disney Cruise Line pricing looks different on the line’s website now. Search results lead with an average price per guest instead of the total cost for your whole party, and the full price of the trip no longer shows up until you have picked an actual stateroom.

Each sailing in the results now carries a “Price from” figure that Disney labels an average per person, based on more than one guest sharing a stateroom. Discounts are shown the same way. Before the switch, those cards showed one total for the party you searched for, along with the total you would save.
What A Search Looks Like Now
BlogMickey walked through the new flow with a three-night Bahamian cruise on the Disney Dream out of Fort Lauderdale, sailing January 8 to 11, 2027. The results card showed $686 per person with a “Save $138 Avg/Person” tag. Once you click in, the stateroom tabs also start per person: Inside from $686, Oceanview from $725, Verandah from $797 and Concierge from $1,913.
From there it takes a few more steps to see what you would actually pay. You pick a sailing date, confirm your travel party, choose a stateroom type, pick a part of the ship and a deck, and then choose a specific room on the deck map. Only at that last step does the vacation total appear. The travel party starts out as one stateroom with two adults and no children, so families traveling with kids will want to change that right away.
Disney Cruise Line did not respond when BlogMickey asked about the change.
Why It Matters When You Book
A per-person average is a much smaller number than a party total, and it makes side-by-side shopping harder. The old results let you line up several dates and see the full cost for your group in one list. Now each sailing has to be carried most of the way through booking before the real number shows up, and a figure built on two people sharing a room says little about what a family of four or five will pay.
That matters on a cruise line where fares climb into the thousands. Disney’s next new ship is a good example: Disney Believe’s inaugural season starts at $2,683 for two, and its December 2027 maiden voyage starts from $6,444 for two.
For now, the easiest way to compare is to set your real travel party first, then take each sailing you are considering all the way to a stateroom and jot down the total. It takes a few more clicks per sailing, but that is where the full fare finally appears, before you have to commit to anything.
