Dancing With The Stars Takes Disney Night To Broadway With Hamilton, Aida And Hercules

Dancing with the Stars Disney Night is set for Monday, November 2, and this year the ballroom is going to Broadway. The Season 35 theme night will celebrate Disney on Broadway, and the couples now know which songs and dance styles they will perform.

The episode moves to Monday instead of the show’s usual Tuesday slot because Tuesday, November 3, is Election Day. Cynthia Erivo will sit in as guest judge, and hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough are both expected to dance during the night, Laughing Place reports.

Every Disney Night Song And Dance

Eight couples are left, and the song list leans on stage hits, from Aida and Hercules to Hamilton.

  • Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov: Quickstep to “A Star Is Born” from Hercules
  • Connor Wood and Rylee Arnold: Waltz to “I See the Light” from Tangled
  • Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach: Samba to “Under the Sea” from The Little Mermaid
  • Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson: Jazz to “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins
  • Jenna Dewan and Val Chmerkovskiy: Quickstep to “Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast
  • Julia Stiles and Ezra Sosa: Paso Doble to “Satisfied” from Hamilton
  • Maura Higgins and Mark Ballas: Jive to “You Can Fly! You Can Fly! You Can Fly!” from Peter Pan
  • Tatyana Ali and Jan Ravnik: Contemporary to “Easy as Life” from Aida

Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson have the trickiest title on the list with “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.” Johnson is coming off the season’s first perfect score, which landed on the night Val Chmerkovskiy came back to the ballroom, as we covered in our recap of the season’s first perfect score.

Two Team Dances Close Out The Night

Disney Night will also feature two team dances. One group will perform to “Zoo” from Zootopia 2, and the other will dance to “We’re All in This Together” from High School Musical. The teams have not been announced yet.

The couples reach Disney Night after a rough Horror Movie Night that ended with a double elimination. Tyler Cameron and Sharna Burgess went home along with Jackson Olson and Emma Slater, which leaves the eight couples above to fight for a spot in the next round.

How To Watch

Dancing with the Stars Disney Night airs live on Monday, November 2, on ABC and streams at the same time on Disney+. Episodes are available to stream on Hulu the next day. Disney Night has become one of the show’s yearly traditions, and this season’s Broadway twist gives the ballroom a fresh set of songs to play with.
