Virgin Australia Debuts Toy Story 5 Aircraft Livery With Onboard Activities

Toy Story 5 is making its mark in the skies as well as in theaters. Virgin Australia has become the second airline to unveil a Toy Story 5 aircraft livery, joining a growing list of brand partners celebrating the film’s release this summer.

According to Laughing Place, the Virgin Australia livery is accompanied by fun onboard activities for passengers, making the Toy Story 5 experience part of the flight itself. No details have been released yet on which specific aircraft will carry the livery or how long the partnership will run.

A Growing Wave Of Toy Story 5 Brand Partnerships

Disney and Pixar have built an impressive promotional campaign around Toy Story 5. Papa John’s launched a Pizza Planet pop-up tied to the film, and now two airlines have committed to full aircraft liveries. Brand partnerships at this scale signal the enormous commercial confidence Disney has in the film heading into its opening weekend.

Woody and Jessie have also debuted their new Toy Story 5 looks at Walt Disney World and Disneyland, while the Lilypad character has appeared at the Toy Story meet-and-greet area at Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure. The film’s promotional footprint spans airlines, restaurants, theme parks, and streaming.

Toy Story 5 In Theaters Now

Toy Story 5 opened in theaters on June 13 to strong early reviews. Critics have called it one of the best entries in the franchise, with many placing it alongside Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3. Taylor Swift’s original song “I Knew It, I Knew You” has already broken streaming records and is generating awards season buzz.
