Marvel Studios is not showing up to San Diego empty handed. Kevin Feige is teasing surprises for the studio’s Hall H panel this Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con, telling Collider: “When we go to Hall H, it’s for a reason, and it’s to have some surprises and show a few things.” He added that the venue is Marvel’s “home away from home,” making the studio’s first return to the famous room since skipping 2025 feel like an event in itself.
What Could Be On The Table
Marvel’s return to Hall H comes at a loaded moment for the studio. The first Avengers: Doomsday trailer already dropped five days early, freeing up Saturday’s panel for material fans have not seen. Speculation centers on extended Doomsday footage, updates on Jake Schreier’s X-Men reboot, the newly announced Nova movie from Loki creator Michael Waldron, VisionQuest, and whatever Spider-Man: Brand New Day victory lap the studio has planned with the film opening July 31.
Black Panther 3 Gets A Maybe
Feige also fielded questions on individual projects, and his answers were classic Feige. Asked whether Black Panther 3 could begin filming next year, his answer was a simple: “Maybe. Maybe.” Asked when fans might hear about casting for the X-Men movie, he gave the exact same two words: “Maybe. Maybe.” That repetition is worth keeping in mind before reading too much into either answer. It is the standard Feige deflection days before a panel built on surprises, though the fact that both projects are far enough along to draw production timeline questions at all says something about where Marvel’s post Secret Wars slate is headed.
A Statement Weekend For Marvel
