Disneyland ticket prices went up on October 6, but only on part of the calendar. Middle-tier one-day tickets now cost $5 more, and the Park Hopper add-on and Lightning Lane Multi Pass both went up. Magic Key passes did not change at all.

New Disneyland Ticket Prices

Disneyland sells one-day, one-park tickets in seven price tiers based on the date. Tiers 1 through 4 each rose $5, and the rest held. Adult prices now look like this:

  • Tier 0: $104, unchanged
  • Tier 1: $134, up from $129
  • Tier 2: $154, up from $149
  • Tier 3: $174, up from $169
  • Tier 4: $189, up from $184
  • Tier 5: $199, unchanged
  • Tier 6: $224, unchanged

Child tickets in Tiers 1 through 4 went up by the same $5, so a Tier 1 child ticket is now $124 and a Tier 4 child ticket is now $179. The $104 ticket has held at that price since 2019, and the $224 top tier is holding still for the first time in a decade.

Multi-day, one-park tickets did not change at all. Adults still pay $335 for two days, $425 for three days, $480 for four days and $520 for five days.

Park Hopping Costs More

Adding the option to move between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure on the same day now costs more on every ticket. The add-on went up $5 to $10 on one-day tickets and $5 to $15 on multi-day tickets, and it now starts at $75. A one-day Park Hopper ticket on a Tier 1 date now runs $214 for an adult, up from $199. The two-day Park Hopper ticket is now $445, up from $435, and the five-day Park Hopper ticket rose $5 to $660.

Lightning Lane, Magic Key And Parking

Lightning Lane Multi Pass went up $1. Buying it ahead of your visit now costs $35 per person, up from $34, and the same-day price now starts at $38 instead of $37 and can climb from there depending on the date.

None of the Magic Key passes changed price, which is also a first. Parking rates stayed the same too. For anyone looking to soften the increase, the Costco Disneyland ticket package with Lightning Lane Multi Pass and a $60 dining card is another way to bundle the Multi Pass this fall.

Why Disneyland Held Back

Disney says Disneyland visitors tend to be regional and make shorter trips, while Walt Disney World guests plan further ahead and stay longer. Thomas Mazloum, chairman of Disney Experiences, said the company thinks “about pricing market by market, rather than with one broad brush.”
