Disney Vacation Club members will get one of the first chances to sail on the Disney Believe. DVC has announced a “First Wave” sailing on Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, a five-night Bahamian cruise leaving Fort Lauderdale on January 5, 2028, less than three weeks after the ship’s December 18, 2027 maiden voyage. Booking opens Saturday, November 21, at 10 a.m. Eastern, and it is by phone only.
The Believe is the fourth ship in the Wish class, and this voyage gives members two of Disney’s island destinations on back-to-back days.

- Wednesday, January 5: Depart Fort Lauderdale
- Thursday, January 6: Disney Castaway Cay
- Friday, January 7: Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point
- Saturday, January 8: At sea
- Sunday, January 9: Nassau, Bahamas
- Monday, January 10: Return to Fort Lauderdale
Onboard, members will be among the first to see the Walt Disney Theatre’s stage adaptation of Encanto, with Tangled: The Musical and Seas the Adventure rounding out the lineup. Dining includes 1923, Worlds of Marvel and Oaken’s Table, a new Frozen dining experience with live entertainment.
How Booking Works On November 21
Members call Member Services at (800) 800-9800 or (407) 566-3800 once the window opens, and Member Services will handle only this sailing from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern that day. Disney expects longer than usual waits.
This is not a traditional Member Cruise. The sailing runs through the Disney Collection exchange, so the primary guest on each reservation pays with Reservation Points while everyone else in the party can pay cash. Full payment is due at booking, and DVC is waiving its usual $95 transaction fee. Each Membership can book up to four staterooms, and Disney has not released the points chart yet.
Popular stateroom categories may go fast, so have your membership number, a few stateroom choices and your payment method ready before you dial. If the sailing sells out, eligible members can join a waitlist.
