Boba Drinks Arrive On Four Disney Cruise Line Ships

Boba drinks have arrived on four Disney Cruise Line ships. Disney Cruise Line announced the new lineup on Instagram, and Disney says it “has arrived aboard select Disney Cruise Line ships, bringing even more sweetness to your vacation.” The toughest decision, Disney added, is choosing just one.

You will find the drinks at Wheezy’s Freezies on the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny, and at Frozone Treats on the Disney Fantasy. Both are quick frozen-treat counters, so this is a grab-and-go drink rather than a sit-down stop.

What The Drinks Look Like

Disney’s photos line up five drinks in clear cups printed with the Disney Cruise Line logo. There is what looks like a green matcha with dark tapioca pearls, a deep berry red drink, a white drink with pale pink pearls, a peach orange drink with orange pearls and a purple drink that streaks down the sides of the cup over dark pearls. Some look like milk teas and others like fruit drinks, and the pearls vary from cup to cup.

Wheezy’s Freezies gets its own touch. Two of the photos show the stand’s clear cups, marked with its round penguin logo, each with a red and white striped straw topped by a little Wheezy in a red bow tie. Wheezy is the squeaky toy penguin from Toy Story 2, and Frozone Treats on the Disney Fantasy is named for the ice-slinging hero from The Incredibles.

Good To Know Before You Sail

Disney has not named the flavors or listed prices yet, so the flavor descriptions above are based on the colors in the photos. It is also not clear whether every drink is served on every ship, or whether the Wheezy topper comes with each order. The onboard menus and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app are the best places to check once you are aboard.

Boba is not brand new to the fleet. The Disney Adventure already serves bubble tea at Bewitching Boba and Brews. What is new is boba on four more ships, which means a lot more guests can now order one without booking a sailing on the Adventure.

The cruise line’s next ship, the Disney Believe, has its own lineup on the way, including the Disney Believe drinks and treats, led by an Evil Queen potion served in a color-changing glass.
