A Disney Princess concert is coming to Disney California Adventure. “Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration” will be performed live at the park on Thursday, August 13, with two shows scheduled for 8:30 PM and 9:45 PM as part of the D23 Day festivities at the Disneyland Resort. Disney is billing it as the largest gathering of Disney Princess talent ever assembled, celebrating the stories across animation, live-action, stage, and music.
How To See The Show
The concert will take place in Paradise Gardens Park, the Disney California Adventure viewing area across from Pixar Pal-A-Round where guests typically watch World of Color. Access will be managed through a limited virtual queue that opens at noon PT, so guests hoping to catch either performance in person will want to be ready on their phones right at midday. Guests can join through the Disneyland app after entering Disney California Adventure, or after entering Disneyland park with a valid Park Hopper ticket. Those selected will need to pick up a wristband at the Hyperion Theater Courtyard between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Given that August 13 is also D23 Day, with thousands of extra fans expected in the parks ahead of the main event, demand for the virtual queue is likely to be intense.
The good news for everyone who cannot be in Anaheim: the concert will not stay inside the berm. The performance is set to stream on Disney+ and air on Disney Channel, Freeform, and The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC on Sunday, August 16, turning the one-night event into a national broadcast moment on the final day of D23.
