The live-action Moana global tour has crossed into Europe, with the cast making a stop in London ahead of the film’s worldwide release.
The Tour Keeps Building Momentum
According to LaughingPlace, Dwayne Johnson, Catherine Laga’aia, and Auli’i Cravalho brought the London stop to life at Potters Fields Park, in the shadow of Tower Bridge, welcoming thousands of guests for an immersive celebration inspired by the world of Moana. The event featured a towering 20-foot replica of Maui’s fishhook alongside a recreation of Moana’s canoe, plus Pacific-inspired dance, drumming, and vocal performances throughout the day.
Cravalho, who voiced Moana in Disney Animation’s original films and serves as an executive producer on the live-action adaptation, performs the film’s new original song, “Along The Way,” alongside Johnson and Laga’aia. The song was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, back with the franchise after crafting the soundtrack for the 2016 animated film. The London stop follows earlier tour dates in Hawai’i, Shanghai, and Sydney, where Johnson surprised a crowd with a live performance ahead of the release. What’s Next For The Tour
Disney’s live-action Moana is one of the studio’s marquee releases for the back half of 2026, and the cast and crew have leaned on in-person fan events to build excitement ahead of its theatrical debut on July 10.
