Magic Key Holders Get Free Haunted Mansion Holiday Lenticular Cards At Disneyland Starting October 26

Magic Key Haunted Mansion Holiday 25th anniversary lenticular card and frame held in front of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland

Magic Key holders are getting a free set of Haunted Mansion Holiday collectibles this fall. Disneyland is handing out four lenticular cards, one each week starting Monday, October 26, to mark 25 years of the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay at the Haunted Mansion. The cards are only for Magic Key holders, and passholders get a frame that holds all four with their first card.

Each card is lenticular, so the art shifts as you tilt it, like the transforming portraits guests pass inside Haunted Mansion Holiday. Disney’s photo of the set shows Jack Skellington holding a jack-o’-lantern under a full moon, the Haunted Mansion itself, Sally with a small Christmas tree, and Jack as Sandy Claws flying his skeleton reindeer across the moon. The frame is printed with the Haunted Mansion Holiday 25th anniversary logo.

Release Dates For All Four Cards

A new card comes out every Monday for four weeks:

  • Card 1: Monday, October 26
  • Card 2: Monday, November 2
  • Card 3: Monday, November 9
  • Card 4: Monday, November 16

All four cards arrive while the overlay is running, in a year when Haunted Mansion Holiday is marking its 25th anniversary with a music box gingerbread house. The cards are available through November 21, and a new one drops each Monday while supplies last, so passholders who only visit every few weeks may want to plan their trips around the Mondays.

Where To Pick Them Up

The cards are available during regular operating hours at three shops: Disneyana on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, Kingswell Shop on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure, and WonderGround Gallery in the Downtown Disney District. WonderGround is the only one of the three you can reach without entering a park.

There is a limit of one of each card per Magic Key holder, and Disney is giving them out while supplies last. That last part matters if you are hoping to finish the set. A Monday drop is no guarantee the card will still be on the shelf days later, so the earlier in the week you can stop by, the better your odds.

Guests visiting on a regular theme park ticket are not eligible, and you’ll need to show a valid Magic Key at pickup. In a group that mixes passholders and ticket holders, only the members holding a Magic Key can collect a set, and each Key gets one of each card.

Haunted Mansion Holiday runs at Disneyland through the holiday season, so anyone who wants to compare the cards with the real thing can ride it on the same trip as their pickup.
