Dinner during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party goes on sale in a matter of days. Disney has set the on-sale dates for party-night dining reservations at Magic Kingdom, and they arrive in a staggered rollout: Disney Resort hotel guests can book starting September 3, while everyone else waits until September 9.
The hotel-guest window follows the standard advance-booking structure, opening up to 60 days ahead of arrival and covering a stay of up to 10 nights. The September 9 date opens reservations to all guests regardless of where they are staying. The dates apply to dining during the party’s 25 select nights running November 8 through December 22.
Four Restaurants Take Party-Night Reservations
The party-night dining lineup covers four Magic Kingdom locations. Be Our Guest Restaurant and Cinderella’s Royal Table return from last year, while The Plaza Restaurant and The Beak and Barrel, the pirate tavern that opened in Adventureland in August 2025, join them for the first time. Booking a table on a party night comes with the usual caveat, and it is a significant one: a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party ticket is required on top of the meal. The reservation does not get anyone through the gate.
That math matters because party tickets are their own investment, and the hard-ticket event operates outside regular park hours. Parties run 7:00pm to midnight, with ticket holders able to enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00pm. A dinner reservation inside that window is one of the few ways to sit down during an evening otherwise built around parades, fireworks, character sets, and cookie lines.
The Holiday Booking Season Is Stacking Up
The dining dates land in what is becoming a crowded stretch of September on-sale moments for Walt Disney World’s holiday season, and they follow a Halloween season that has been selling aggressively. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates began selling out in early summer, a pattern that reached a second sellout before July ended and has kept climbing since. Party tickets themselves followed the same resort-guest-first pattern, going on sale to select resort guests on July 9 before the general public on July 16. If the Christmas party follows the Halloween trajectory, the November 8 opening night and the early December dates are the ones to watch.
There is also a new wrinkle at the Diamond Horseshoe this year. The saloon’s returning pop-up experience will operate during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party nights, giving party guests another sit-down option beyond the four restaurants taking standard reservations, though it will sit out the Halloween party entirely.
For guests staying off property, the practical advice is simple: know what you want before September 9, because resort guests will have had six days of first pick by the time general booking opens. Cinderella’s Royal Table on a party night is one of the hardest tables at Walt Disney World in any season, and the castle does not get less popular when it is covered in icicle lights.
