Nomad Lounge To Go is now taking orders at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Pickup windows started showing up in the My Disney Experience app on Wednesday morning, October 14, so you can finally order the lounge’s churros from your phone and skip the wait for a seat inside.
The listing first went up on October 7 with an order button and nothing to pick. When we first reported Nomad Lounge To Go, there were no arrival times to choose and no start date from Disney. That changed on Wednesday, when arrival windows opened from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
One Item, $11
The To Go menu keeps things simple. Churros are the only thing on it, served with vanilla crema and apple butter for $11, the same price they carry on the full Nomad Lounge menu. Nothing else from the lounge has crossed over, so drinks like the Lamu Libation and small plates like the $16 crispy chicken wings or the wild mushroom dumplings still mean heading inside.
Guests with food allergies are covered too. Disney’s menu lists allergy-friendly churros for guests avoiding gluten and wheat, fish and shellfish, peanuts and tree nuts, sesame or soy, each at the same $11 price and with the same two sauces.
How To Order
Ordering works like any other Mobile Order spot at Walt Disney World. Open the app, choose Nomad Lounge To Go, pick a 15-minute arrival window, pay, and tap that you’ve arrived when you get to the lounge. Disney lists it as a quick-service snack stop on Discovery Island, open for lunch and dinner, and puts it in its lowest price tier, $14.99 and under per adult.
A few things to know before you order. The official Nomad Lounge To Go page says Disney Dining Plan meals are not accepted, so this one comes out of pocket. The churros are made to order after you check in, so expect a short wait at the counter before they come out.
Nomad Lounge sits beside Tiffins Restaurant, just outside the entrance to Pandora, which makes it an easy stop on the way to Avatar Flight of Passage or Na’vi River Journey. The sit-down lounge is still open as well, so if you would rather have a cocktail and a view over Discovery River, you can still check in for a seat the usual way.
