The Polite Pig has raised prices across most of its menu at Disney Springs. All five kids’ meals at the Town Center barbecue spot now cost $11, up from $9, and several sandwiches climbed $2.
Thirty-two items moved on the restaurant’s official Disney World menu. Thirty went up, and two of its bourbon flights actually got cheaper.
What Costs More At The Polite Pig
The kids’ menu takes one of the biggest hits. The Smoked Pork Slider, Chicken Tenders, Sliced Smoked Turkey Breast, BBQ Meatballs and Mac and Cheese meals each went from $9 to $11, a jump of about 22 percent.
On the sandwich side, the Smoked Turkey BLT and the Fried Chicken sandwich are both $15 now, up from $13, and the Smoked Chicken Salad Wrap went from $12 to $14. The Southern Pig and the Low & Slow Brisket each rose $1, to $14 and $16.
Plates from the smoker went up too. Layla’s Ribs and the Cedar Plank Salmon are $28, up $2 each, while the USDA Prime Brisket is $23 and the Smoked Turkey Breast is $19. The Butcher Board for two is now $48, a $4 increase. Starters didn’t escape either: the Hop Salt Pretzel is $11 and the Slider Trio is $19, both up a dollar.
Drinks followed. Bottled water is $3.50 and sodas are $4, each up 50 cents. Every pitcher of the restaurant’s small-batch cocktails, including the Polite Mule, Sangria and Grapefruit Margarita, went from $29 to $32, and a pitcher of Bud Light is $25, up from $22. High Noon jumped from $5 to $7.
Whiskey drinkers get a small break. The Rye Flight dropped from $25 to $21 and the Florida Flight from $24 to $22, though the Refined Flight rose a dollar to $27.
Rainforest Cafe Nudges Prices Up Too
Rainforest Cafe raised prices at both of its Disney World locations as well, though by much less. Nearly every change at the Disney Springs Marketplace and Animal Kingdom restaurants is between 20 and 50 cents, with the Chicken Quesadillas now $16.99 and Bamba’s Beef Dip at $23.49. The outlier is the Sparkling Volcano dessert for four, which climbed $1.50 to $22.99. The Lava Lounge next door raised 36 prices by similar amounts.
It is the latest round of increases at Disney World tables this month, following higher character dining and buffet prices at 15 restaurants. You can see the current prices on our Disney Springs Town Center menus and Marketplace menus before you go.
