Percy Jackson Season 3 stormed into Hall H on Thursday as the series kicked off Disney Entertainment Television’s San Diego Comic-Con slate. The panel delivered the first teaser for the new season, a first look at its opening scene, and confirmation that Percy Jackson and the Olympians returns to Disney+ on November 20, 2026, adapting the third book in Rick Riordan’s saga, The Titan’s Curse.
The Opening Scene Introduces Thalia Grace
According to Deadline, the footage screened for fans opens with Thalia Grace, played by Tamara Smart, battling a monster in a parking garage. Percy jumps in to help, much to Thalia’s visible annoyance, before Annabeth appears and admits she asked Percy to come. The two of them need Thalia’s help to rescue a pair of demigods, setting the season’s quest in motion. Book readers know exactly who those demigods are, and the creative team teased that fan-favorite moments like the Junkyard scene, the Winter Solstice, and the Hunters of Artemis are all on the way.
Star Walker Scobell promised the crowd that the new episodes will stay true to The Titan’s Curse, while Charlie Bushnell said he is excited for fans to see Atlas brought to life this season. The premiere date itself had already been confirmed, as we covered when the November 20 date was first announced, but Thursday’s panel marked the first time fans got to see the season in motion, along with a brand-new poster.
Leah Sava Jeffries Sends A Message From The Cheetah Girls Set
One key face was missing from the stage. Annabeth herself, Leah Sava Jeffries, could not attend because she is currently filming the new Cheetah Girls movie, so Scobell carried a cardboard cutout of her face onto the stage in her honor. Jeffries also recorded a video message that played for the Hall H audience, an adorable moment that doubled as a status update on the recently greenlit Cheetah Girls project.
With the teaser now out in the world and just under four months until the premiere, expect a full trailer, more character reveals, and plenty of Olympian drama between now and November 20.
