The rest of the Monsters, Inc. coaster track is on site at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Construction photographer bioreconstruct posted new aerials of Monstropolis on Saturday, October 31, and they show what he describes as all of the remaining track for the suspended door coaster laid out on the ground, waiting to go up.
A day earlier, his photos showed crews putting the track in from the bottom up inside the ride building. Now the pieces still to be installed are all staged and ready.

Supports And Brake Flooring Lined Up Too
The track isn’t the only thing waiting its turn. Another photo shows the last of the track supports and the flooring that runs along the block brakes, the stretches that split the course into sections so trains stay safely spaced apart.

Bricks At The Gateway
He also posted an aerial video of the whole site. It shows the latest track installed on the coaster, and out front, masons laying bricks at the gateway into Monstropolis. A new set of concrete forms is in place for the land’s fountain as well. Both the gateway and the fountain were taking shape in his previous round of aerials.

When Can You Ride?
Riders will hang below the track on this coaster, starting with the vertical lift Disney previewed in the video above. Disney says on the Disney Parks Blog that parts of Monstropolis will open to guests in 2027 while work on the coaster continues. There is still no opening date for the ride itself.
bioreconstruct has said the track looks to be going in from the lowest level to the highest, so the pieces on the ground now should work their way up through the building next. Until Disney shares more, his flyovers are the best way to follow along.
