ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series is heading back to Seabrook for season 2, which premieres October 27 on Disney Channel and streams on Disney+ the next day. Disney Channel has released a season 2 trailer, embedded below, as Laughing Place reported.
The original ZOMBIES stars are back behind the microphone, including Milo Manheim as Zed and Meg Donnelly as Addison, along with Kylee Russell as Eliza, Trevor Tordjman as Bucky, Pearce Joza as Wyatt and Chandler Kinney as Willa.
What ZOMBIES: The Re-Animated Series Is About
The animated series picks up after ZOMBIES 3, with humans, zombies, werewolves and aliens all sharing Seabrook. Zed, Addison and the rest of the crew use alien time-warp technology to relive their senior year at Seabrook High.
Episodes are self-contained adventures rather than one long story, so a fight to save the cafeteria’s favorite drink can sit next to an evil clone episode or a school activity that spins out of control. Most episodes are split into two shorter segments, so it is an easy show to pick up at any point, even for viewers who skipped season 1.
The live-action franchise has kept going alongside the series. ZOMBIES 4: Dawn of the Vampires premiered on Disney Channel on July 10, 2025, and reached Disney+ the following day, the same cable-then-streaming pattern season 2 is following.
How We Got To Season 2
The franchise began with the Disney Channel Original Movie ZOMBIES in 2018, followed by ZOMBIES 2 in 2020 and ZOMBIES 3 in 2022. The animated version started with a run of shorts beginning in July 2023, and season 1 premiered on Disney Channel on June 28, 2024, with 20 episodes. The series is made by Disney Television Animation with Atomic Cartoons, with Aliki Theofilopoulos and Jack Ferraiolo among its executive producers.
The franchise is not slowing down after season 2. The next movie, ZOMBIES 5: Secrets of the Sea, is due in 2027. The season 2 premiere also lands four days before Halloween.
