Trader Sam’s Mixology Seminar is coming back to the Disneyland Hotel for two days in November, and every guest goes home with a Jack Skellington mug. The 21-and-up event runs on Monday, November 16, and Wednesday, November 18, and bookings open on Tuesday, October 27.
Disneyland’s event page lists the price at $179 per adult, plus tax and gratuity. It is a prepaid event, and no discounts apply.

What You Get For $179
The evening starts inside Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar with a 45-minute seminar, where guests learn how some of the bar’s island-inspired drinks are made. During the class, everyone gets one specialty non-alcoholic drink and one signature cocktail.
After the class, the party moves outdoors for a 90-minute reception. There is one more cocktail there, with a non-alcoholic option on request, plus hot and cold appetizers and live island music by the fire.
Before heading out, each guest gets a Jack Skellington Trader Sam’s mug inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack has been a big part of Trader Sam’s this fall. Since October 20, the bar has also been selling a $75 Jack Skellington mug sculpted by a Haunted Mansion Holiday artist. Disney has not said whether the seminar mug is the same design.
Times And Booking
There are three seminars on each date, at 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Each one is capped at 38 guests, so the six sessions add up to just 228 seats.
Between check-in, the class and the reception, plan on close to three hours from start to finish. That means the 3 p.m. seminar wraps up in the early evening, while the 8 p.m. group will be at the tiki bar until about 10:15 p.m.
Reservations can be made on the Disneyland website or in the Disneyland app starting October 27. Full payment is due when you book. Disney says same-day spots may be available on a limited basis, but with seats this tight, booking early is the safer plan.
What To Know Before You Go
Every guest must be 21 or older and show a valid government ID at check-in. Check-in starts 30 minutes before your seminar at Trader Sam’s, and parties may be seated with other guests. The seminar takes place inside the Disneyland Hotel, a short walk from the parks through Downtown Disney.
