Diamond Horseshoe Reservations Open September 29 At 8 PM Eastern, Five Days Before The Pop-Up Debuts

Inside The Diamond Horseshoe in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom

Reservations for the Diamond Horseshoe pop-up at Magic Kingdom open Tuesday, September 29, at 8 p.m. Eastern. Walt Disney World posted the date and time in a notice for the Liberty Square venue, which opens to guests on Sunday, October 4.

That leaves about five days between the booking window opening and the first seatings.

An Evening Release Instead Of 7 A.M.

Most Walt Disney World dining reservations open at 7 a.m. Eastern, in line with the standard 60-day advance booking window. An 8 p.m. release is a break from that routine, and anyone hoping for a table should be online at 8 p.m. on the 29th, not the next morning out of habit.

Disney has done this before. Reservations for The Beak and Barrel opened at 7 p.m. Eastern in August 2025.

What Opens October 4

The pop-up is a table-service venue built around shareable frontier-style small plates, a change from the all-you-care-to-enjoy family-style meal the Diamond Horseshoe served before.

Disney’s lineup has six savory small plates, four non-alcoholic specialty drinks, five cocktails plus a seasonal pour, and a selection of wine and draft beer. We broke down every item on the Diamond Horseshoe menu when Disney released it.

Highlights include glazed sticky ribs, queso fundido with barbecue burnt ends, sweet golden corn fritters, and cocktails such as the High Plains Huckleberry.

The Diamond Horseshoe has been closed since Jessie’s Roundup, the Toy Story show that took over the space for Cool Kids’ Summer, ended on September 8. Disney has not announced a closing date for the pop-up.

Party Nights And Walk-Ups

The Diamond Horseshoe will sit out the rest of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so it will not be open on party nights this fall. It will be open during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Reservations are not the only way in. Disney says walk-ups will be accommodated once the pop-up opens, so guests who miss the September 29 release can still try for a table in person.
