Thousands Of Walt Disney World Food Prices Rise, With Fountain Drinks And Coffee Now $4.99

Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom lit up at dusk

Walt Disney World food prices went up today, October 6, the same morning Disney raised ticket and annual pass prices. The new prices showed up on quick-service menus in the parks and at the resort hotels, and most of the changes are small. A regular fountain drink now costs $4.99, up from $4.79.

Food took the bigger hits, often a full dollar an item, while regular fountain drinks and hot tea rose 20 cents. Nothing here will wreck a vacation budget on its own, but it adds up for a family eating every meal in the parks over a long trip.

Coffee, Tea And Fountain Drinks Now Cost The Same

Regular fountain drinks, freshly brewed Joffrey’s coffee, Twinings hot tea and hot cocoa all land at $4.99 now, so a regular soda, coffee or tea rings up at the same price. Large sizes went up by a dime or two, with a large fountain drink now $5.99. Joffrey’s Cold Brew climbed 30 cents to $6.29. Back in October 2024, fountain drinks went from $4.49 to $4.79, so the same cup now costs 50 cents more than it did before that increase.

Alcohol did not escape either. A number of mixed drinks are 50 cents higher, and beer is up 75 cents.

The Meals That Cost More

At Magic Kingdom, the Mini Corn Dogs at Casey’s Corner went from $10.99 to $11.99, and the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich at Pinocchio Village Haus went from $13.99 to $14.99. The Ham and Gruyère Sandwich at Gaston’s Tavern rose 50 cents to $11.29. Flatbreads at Pinocchio Village Haus went up between 50 cents and a dollar, with the Buffalo Chicken Flatbread now $14.29.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge followed the same pattern. The Ronto Wrap at Ronto Roasters is now $14.99, a dollar more than before, and both chicken Tip Yip plates at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo went up 70 cents to $16.99.

One of the biggest single jumps is in Pandora, where the Chili-Garlic Shrimp Bowl at Satu’li Canteen rose $1.20 to $16.99. The chicken and tofu bowls there each went up a dollar to $14.49.

Even basic orders cost more, with four-piece chicken strips going from $10.99 to $11.99. Not every item changed, though. Bottled water is still $4.25, and across what has been spotted so far, most increases fall between 50 cents and a dollar.

More Than 2,500 Menu Prices Went Up

The changes reach well past quick-service counters. Higher prices showed up on 2,537 menu listings at 173 restaurants, bars and lounges across Walt Disney World. That count treats each menu separately, so a dish listed on both a regular and an allergy-friendly menu counts twice. About 1,780 of the increases are at the resort hotels rather than the parks.

Among the parks, Hollywood Studios had the most with 233, followed by Magic Kingdom with 191, EPCOT with 185, Animal Kingdom with 97 and Disney Springs with 53. Fifty cents was the most common increase, on more than 1,000 listings, followed by a full dollar on about 500.

Table-service restaurants took some of the steepest hits. At The Hollywood Brown Derby, the Filet Mignon went from $56 to $59, and the Braised Center-cut Short Rib and Pan-roasted Halibut each rose $3 to $57. Le Cellier Steakhouse added $3 to its steaks, putting its 7-oz Filet Mignon at $68. Dr. Falls Signature Grilled Steak at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen climbed from $41 to $44, and the Grilled Beef Tenderloin at Tiffins went from $59 to $62.

Smaller orders moved too. The Churro at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies jumped $1.50 to $7.49, and onion rings rose $2 at both The Plaza Restaurant and Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. Kids’ meals went up on 315 listings, mostly by 50 cents or a dollar, though the kids’ Cheeseburger at Harambe Market rose $2 to $9.49.

Drinks with alcohol account for about 900 of the increases, most of them 50 cents. The biggest jump on that side of the menu is Le Cellier’s Ice Wine Flight, which went from $25 to $38. About 100 prices went down, though most look like reworked menus rather than real discounts. Prices were still changing through the day, with about 385 more increases appearing between early morning and early afternoon.

Tickets And Passes Went Up The Same Day

The menu changes arrived with Disney’s yearly round of ticket increases. All four Walt Disney World annual passes cost more, led by the Incredi-Pass at $1,749, and one-day tickets for the busiest holiday dates in late 2027 now top out at $229. Multi-day tickets did not change. Out west, Disneyland raised one-day ticket prices by $5 on its middle tiers while leaving Magic Key prices alone.
