Disney Jollywood Nights 2026 is adding a new lounge, two Monsters, Inc. characters who have never met guests at the event and three new faces on the ice when the Hollywood Studios holiday party returns November 7. Disney shared the additions on Disney Parks Blog Tuesday along with the rest of this year’s lineup. The event runs on select nights through January 5, reaching into January for the first time.
A New Lounge In Animation Courtyard
The biggest addition is the Checkin’ It Twice Lounge in Animation Courtyard. Disney pitches it as a stylish hideaway with specialty drinks, a live DJ and entertainment through the evening, a spot to sit down between shows and rides. There is no menu yet. Disney says those details will come with the Jollywood Nights Foodie Guide later in the season.
First-Time Meets And A Bigger Glisten!
Mike Wazowski is back in Pixar Plaza, and this year he has company. George Sanderson and Needleman from Monsters, Inc. will meet guests during Jollywood Nights for the first time.
“Glisten!” also returns to the rink in front of the Chinese Theater, and Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Genie will skate into the show for the first time. The video above shows last year’s full performance.
The rest of the entertainment is familiar. Kermit and Miss Piggy host “Disney Holidays in Hollywood” at Theater of the Stars, Jack Skellington turns up in the “What’s This?” Nightmare Before Christmas sing-along at Hyperion Theater, and Wayne and Lanny from Prep & Landing headline the “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” fireworks show over the Chinese Theater. Pixar Disco and the Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club are back too.
Dates, Tickets And Rides
There are 15 party nights this year: November 7, 14, 16, 21, 23 and 28; December 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21 and 23; and January 3 and 5. Guests can walk in as early as 5:30 p.m., the party officially starts at 7:30 p.m., and it wraps at 12:30 a.m.
Tickets run $169 to $199 plus tax depending on the night, with $10 off for children ages 3 to 9. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members also save $10 per ticket on every date. An event ticket is all you need, with no separate park ticket or park reservation required.
Nine rides will run during the party: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, which switches to an Electric Mayhem holiday concert on November 4, plus Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Star Tours, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Slinky Dog Dash, Alien Swirling Saucers and Toy Story Mania! Disney notes that the ride list can change and that a ticket does not guarantee access to any attraction.
More character appearances, food and drink details are still on the way, and Disney has already revealed this year’s event-exclusive merchandise starring Gertie and Duffy as Santa.
