Disneyland Candy Canes Return For 2026: Every Date At Both Parks

Disneyland candy canes are coming back for the holidays, and the resort has now set the dates for its hand-made treats at both parks. The 2026 schedule starts Friday, November 27 at Disneyland Park and runs through Christmas Day, with Disney California Adventure taking the days in between.

These are the big hand-made candy canes from the resort’s candy shops, and quantities are very limited, so knowing the dates ahead of time is the best way to plan for one. The full 2026 schedule comes from the Disneyland Resort, Laughing Place reports.

2026 Candy Cane Dates At Disneyland Park

At Disneyland Park, the candy canes come from Candy Palace and Candy Kitchen on Main Street, U.S.A., on these days:

  • November 27 and 30
  • December 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23 and 25

Across the esplanade, Trolley Treats on Buena Vista Street handles the candy canes on the alternating days:

  • November 28 and 29
  • December 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22 and 24

The two parks never share a date, which spreads the tradition across 20 days between Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas. If your trip lands on a day missing from both lists, there are no candy canes that day at either park.

How To Get One

As with last year, guests need to line up at the shop to get a wristband. The wristband lists the date and a return time, and you come back at that time to buy your candy cane, so expect to wait in two lines. A sign posted at the candy shops says the limit is one per person, per day, and that no discounts apply and there are no exchanges or refunds, according to Mickey Visit.

Because the wristbands go fast, plan to head straight to the shop as soon as you enter the park on a candy cane day, with everyone in your party who wants one. Check the return time printed on your wristband before you make other plans, because you need to be back at the shop at that time to buy your candy cane. Last year the candy canes sold for about $24, according to Mickey Visit.

The candy canes are a long-running tradition of Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, which returns November 13 and runs through January 6, 2027. The season also brings back favorites like “it’s a small world” Holiday, A Christmas Fantasy Parade and World of Color: Season of Light, so a candy cane morning can easily turn into a full day of holiday plans.
