Another longtime spot in Downtown Disney has poured its last drink. Jamba, the smoothie and juice bar that operated in the Disneyland Resort’s shopping and dining district for 23 years, has closed to make way for a brand new concept called Bopo Go.
The End Of A 23-Year Run
Jamba served its final smoothies on July 5 before closing permanently on July 6. The location first opened in 2003, just two years after Downtown Disney debuted, and received a refresh in 2020 when it adopted the shortened Jamba name. Over the years it became a reliable quick stop for smoothies, fruit bowls, and snacks while strolling the district.
Say Hello To Bopo Go
Taking over the roughly 1,200-square-foot space is Bopo Go, a new cafe concept from Eric Wang and Philip Wang, the co-owners of Bopomofo Cafe. Inspired by convenience stores across Asia, Bopo Go will serve authentic boba and bubble tea made without artificial ingredients, with tea sourced from Taiwan and matcha from Japan, plus light bites, imported snacks, and candies. The space sits between Sephora and Pandora Jewelry, near World of Disney.
More Changes On The Way
The swap is the latest in a wave of transformation across Downtown Disney. Construction begins this summer, though an opening date for Bopo Go has not yet been announced. The district has seen a steady stream of new arrivals lately, including Happy Ice and the permanent Earl of Sandwich location.
