Toy Story 5 Takes To The Skies With New Horizon Air Plane Livery

Horizon Air, Alaska Airlines’ regional carrier, has unveiled a Toy Story 5 themed plane called To 45 and Beyond. Here’s everything on the livery ahead of the film’s June 19 release.

Horizon Air, the regional carrier of Alaska Airlines, has unveiled a brand-new aircraft livery inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 5. The special plane, an Embraer 175 (N659QX), was revealed to guests and employees on May 29 at Portland International Airport and has been named “To 45 and Beyond” — a nod to Buzz Lightyear’s famous catchphrase and a celebration of Horizon Air’s upcoming 45th anniversary.

What’s On The Plane

The livery features original fan favorites Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie alongside new Toy Story 5 tech toy characters including Lilypad, Snappy, Atlas, and Smarty Pants. Floating clouds run the length of the fuselage, and playful callouts inspired by the franchise are painted throughout, including “Saddle Up, It’s Takeoff Time!” and “Ready for Takeoff, Partner.” Forky and Karen Beverly also make surprise appearances on the winglets, giving sharp-eyed fans plenty to spot.

Alaska Airlines described the collaboration as a celebration of adventure, imagination, and play, timed to coincide with both the film’s theatrical release and Horizon’s milestone anniversary. Toy Story 5 opened exclusively in theaters on June 19, 2026.

A Long History Of Disney Planes

This is far from the first time Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air have teamed up with Disney on a themed aircraft. The partnership stretches back more than three decades, with previous liveries including a Toy Story 4 plane introduced in 2019, a “Friendship and Beyond at the Disneyland Resort” Toy Story livery, and a Star Wars transport plane later updated with Mandalorian and Anzellan characters. The new “To 45 and Beyond” livery marks the tenth Disney-themed aircraft collaboration between the two companies.

Where To Spot It

The “To 45 and Beyond” Embraer 175 is now flying throughout Horizon Air’s regional route network across Alaska Airlines’ system. Travelers in the Pacific Northwest and beyond may spot it operating on routes throughout the carrier’s footprint.
