If you’re a repeat rider, you may notice a few small changes in Haunted Mansion Holiday this year. Tustin Raider posted his notes on October 16: the Man-Eating Wreath no longer has its projected eyes, the Bride’s candlestick has a decorative ribbon he doesn’t think was there last year, and the chair he calls the “Donald Duck” chair next to the hallway is gone.
The LMG Vids ride-through above shows the 2026 version from start to finish.
A few notes on Haunted Mansion Holiday:
— Raider Lost in the Parks (@TustinRaider) October 16, 2026
-No “Donald Duck” chair next to the Hallway
-The props in the coffin scene looked really good
-No projected eyes on the Man-Eating Wreath
-The Bride’s candlestick has a decorative ribbon this year; I don’t think it was there last year
The wreath’s own eyes still glow, just without the projection. He also praised the coffin scene props, and his post includes four photos from the ride.
What’s New For The 25th Anniversary
The bigger news this year is in the ballroom. The gingerbread house has an all-new design for 2026, and it doubles as a music box for the overlay’s 25th year at Disneyland.
Inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Haunted Mansion Holiday turns the Haunted Mansion into Jack Skellington’s take on the holidays, with Sally, Zero and Oogie Boogie among the familiar faces inside. It has been running since August 21 and is expected to stay through the holiday season, which ends January 6, 2027. Magic Key holders also have a souvenir to look forward to, with free Haunted Mansion Holiday lenticular cards starting October 26.
What To Look For On Your Ride
The missing chair sat beside the Endless Hallway near the start of the ride. The wreath hangs at the end of the Corridor of Doors, after the coffin scene, and the ribboned candlestick is in a tomb doorway in the snowy graveyard near the end.
