Lilo & Stitch 2 was back at Hilton Hawaiian Village on Tuesday morning, and this time Stitch had a job to do. New set video shows the little blue alien hauling a baggage cart piled high with luggage under the hotel’s covered entrance.
Hawaii Isla 808, a Waikiki photographer who has been following the shoot, posted three short clips from the resort a little after 8 a.m. Hawaii time.

What The New Clips Show
The video was shot under the covered drive at the front of the hotel, next to a taxi stand. A gold bellhop cart sits loaded with gray bags, with Stitch at the handle. A bright yellow sports car like the one photographed on Monday is parked under the entrance, with a boom microphone and lighting gear set up nearby and onlookers watching from the sidewalk.
None of the clips runs longer than about four seconds, so they do not reveal much about the scene itself. The crew also filmed at the front entrance on Monday.
Day Two In Waikiki
On Monday, photos from the set showed Stitch in a bucket hat sitting next to Angel on a big blue cooler in the hotel’s garden. We rounded up those photos when Lilo & Stitch 2 first filmed in Waikiki. Tuesday’s footage shows the production back at the resort for a second day.
Filming officially started the week before with a traditional Hawaiian blessing at Bishop Museum in Honolulu, attended by cast members Sydney Agudong, who plays Nani, and Amy Hill, who plays Tutu. Governor Josh Green was there too, and he has said the film, made with a mostly local crew, means real jobs and millions of dollars in economic activity for the islands. Chris Sanders, who co-created the original animated film and has voiced Stitch since 2002, is directing the sequel. Maia Kealoha returns as Lilo, after the first live-action film earned more than $1 billion worldwide.
Disney has Lilo & Stitch 2 set to open in theaters on May 26, 2028, the start of Memorial Day weekend. Angel joins the story this time, but other plot details are still under wraps.
