Toontown Christmas decorations are going up at Disneyland, more than two weeks before Holidays at the Disneyland Resort officially begins. Garland, wreaths and oversized ornaments appeared on several buildings in Mickey’s Toontown on Wednesday, and true to the land, the decor comes with a cartoon twist on almost every facade.

Roger Rabbit Is Already In His Santa Suit
The most eye-catching piece so far is Roger Rabbit, who pops out of a round window above his attraction wearing a red Santa suit and hat. A full wreath frames him, loaded with red, blue and yellow ornaments along with a few black-and-white swirled ones that fit his zany style.
He sits at the top of the facade for Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin, where more garland with matching ornaments and red bows wraps around the cab bursting out of the wall above the entrance.
Money At The Bank, Hoses At The Fire Station
Each building gets decor that matches what it is. Over the entrance to the Third Little Piggy Bank, the garland is clipped with oversized dollar bills and giant coins instead of standard ornaments, all beneath the golden piggy bank on the roof.
Up close, the bills read “One Zillion Simoleons.” Next door, the Samba School’s garland is a burst of colorful tinsel with tiny guitars tucked in among the ornaments.
At the fire station, the garland swoops between the yellow fire hydrants on the roofline with white fire hoses wound right through it. A wreath with a big yellow bow hangs in the round window below.
The same idea runs down the rest of the street. The Courthouse has crossed gavels set into its garland with gold and red ornaments and red bows, while the Dept. of Street Repair next to it gets yellow bows and a red-and-white striped piece.
Toontown City Hall went with red, white and blue tinsel, red bows, red stars and silver ornaments.
The clock repair shop’s garland is hung with clocks and gears, and the post office next door has blue tinsel dotted with stamps and small wrapped gifts, plus a wreath with a big red bow above its windows.
Over at the Gag Factory, cartoon gloved hands reach out of the blue tinsel garland between the ornaments, and the Power House next door has its own garland with a pink bow.
Gingerbread At Cafe Daisy
Cafe Daisy got one of the most detailed looks in the land. Purple tinsel runs along the roofline and around the sign, filled with gingerbread cookies, flower-shaped cookies, teacups and pastel pink, mint and yellow ornaments.
A matching wreath hangs over the Mobile Order Pick Up window.
Candy And Springs At Goofy’s House
Goofy’s house is covered in bright pink, green and teal tinsel, with wrapped candies, rainbow springs and big yellow, purple and green bows.
The teal garland climbs all the way up the stone chimney to the bird’s nest at the top, and the front of the house has a wreath with a purple bow over the window above the door.
Mickey’s House Is Ready For Company
Mickey’s House has garland strung along its roofline with big red bows and ornaments. In the front yard, a toy-style Christmas tree hung with oversized ornaments now sits among the giant toys, next to the spinning top and the toy train.
From the front walk, the garland frames the whole entrance, with red, blue and yellow ornaments and gold stars running along the gables.
Next door, Minnie’s House has its own sculpted Christmas tree covered in pink Minnie bows, plus a pink wreath inside the heart-shaped window above the door.
Donald’s boat is trimmed with blue tinsel, gold anchors and yellow bows along its railing.
Halloween Isn’t Quite Gone Yet
Even the popcorn cart got a garland with red, blue and yellow ornaments and a big red bow. The sign on the cart, though, is still advertising the Vampire Mickey Mouse Bucket, so Halloween and Christmas are sharing the cart for now.
Big red bows have also been tied around the lamp posts throughout the land.
When The Holidays Start
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort runs from Friday, November 13, through January 6, 2027, according to the Disney Parks Blog’s holiday guide. Crews are dressing the land well ahead of that date, so expect more pieces to appear over the next couple of weeks.
Toontown is not the only part of the park getting an early start. Crews have also been setting the stage in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle for ABC’s holiday special. Over the next few weeks, Disneyland’s holiday look will come together piece by piece, but the decorated buildings in Toontown are already there for guests to see up close.
Toontown matters more than usual this season. Santa Claus is moving to the Mickey’s Toontown Trolley Barn near Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin this year, so families heading there for a visit with Santa will have a chance to see all of this.
