Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel Shuttles Move To A New Downtown Disney Drop-Off November 2

Good Neighbor Hotel shuttles are getting a new home at Disneyland Resort. Starting Monday, November 2, shuttles from Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels and other third-party hotels will drop guests at the new Downtown Disney District Shuttle Area, on the west side of Downtown Drive next to the Disneyland Hotel valet loop and near the Lululemon store, Scott Gustin reported.

If you are staying off property and ride your hotel’s shuttle in each morning, this is the change to know before your next trip. The bus will no longer stop where it has been stopping, and the walk to the parks will start from the Disneyland Hotel side of the resort instead.

Where The New Shuttle Area Sits

The map Gustin shared labels the space as the Downtown Disney District Shuttle Area. It shows three long loading islands with room for buses on both sides, sitting just below the Lilo Lot on the map, with Disneyland Hotel self-parking on one side and Downtown Drive running along the other. Lululemon is the easiest landmark to remember when you are walking back to it at the end of the night.

The change covers Good Neighbor Hotels, the off-site hotels that partner with Disneyland Resort, as well as other third-party hotel shuttles. If your hotel runs its own bus, ask the front desk where it now picks up for the ride back and how often it runs, so you are not hunting for it after a long park day.

Why The Buses Keep Moving

This is the latest piece of a long shuffle around the Esplanade, the plaza between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, where construction is still working its way across the eastern side. Back in September, Gustin said work would start on a relocated drop-off for the Toy Story Lot shuttles moving north toward Harbor Boulevard, and that buses would shift to a temporary spot once that work was done so construction on the eastern portion of the Esplanade could continue.

Disneyland has not said how long the new arrangement will last, so treat it as the plan for the near term rather than a permanent home.

What To Do Before Your Trip

Give yourself a few extra minutes on your first morning after November 2, especially if you are aiming for rope drop or an early reservation. Save the shuttle area as a pin on your phone so you can find it again after fireworks, and confirm your hotel’s last bus time before you head out so a late night does not end with a long wait or a rideshare.

The update covers hotel shuttle drop-offs only. Gustin’s post does not mention any change for guests who drive in and park at the resort’s garages and lots.
