Disney Cruise Line is rolling out two notable policy changes for sailings departing on or after June 3, 2026. The updates cover stateroom door decorating and the amount of alcohol guests can bring onboard.
Stateroom Door Decorating Rules Are Changing
The rules for stateroom doors themselves are not changing, and fish extenders are still permitted. However, decorations placed on nearby hallway walls or ceilings are no longer allowed starting with June 3 sailings. This is a targeted update rather than a broad crackdown on door decorating, which remains a beloved Disney Cruise Line tradition for many guests.
New Alcohol Limits
Starting June 3, guests 21 and older are limited to one bottle of wine per person, down from two. The beer allowance stays at six cans or bottles. The corkage fee also drops from $29 to $20, which is a small but welcome reduction for guests who bring wine to enjoy at dinner.
When Do These Changes Take Effect?
Both policy updates apply to sailings departing on or after June 3, 2026. If your cruise departs before that date, the existing policies remain in place.
