Disney Lorcana Hyperia City arrives at Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort on October 16, and anyone hoping to buy it will need a virtual queue boarding pass first. Disney will run the release through World of Disney at Disney Springs and Disney’s Pin Trader in the Downtown Disney District, with no standby line at either store.

Hyperia City is the newest set in the Disney Lorcana trading card game from Ravensburger. It was first detailed at D23 2026, where the Lorcana team described a bustling city full of music and creativity, named in honor of Hyperion Studio, home of Walt Disney Studios from 1926 to 1940.

How The Walt Disney World Queue Works

Florida collectors get one shot. The queue opens in the My Disney Experience app at 6 a.m. ET on October 16, and you need to be within about 45 miles of Disney Springs to join. Once your boarding group is called, you have 60 minutes to get to World of Disney.

Only the person registered in the queue can buy, though a parent and child can walk in together. Each guest gets one transaction with a limit of two of each item, while supplies last, according to the Walt Disney World virtual queue page.

How The Disneyland Queue Works

California fans start earlier. The single chance to join opens in the Disneyland app at 5 a.m. PT, and the radius is wider, at 90 miles from the Downtown Disney District. When your group comes up, the app will tell you to head to Disney’s Pin Trader and scan your QR code.

Disneyland is strict about the details. Everyone has to use their own app account, parties cannot join together and boarding passes cannot be linked or shared. The resort also limits each guest to one phone and one boarding pass.

What To Keep In Mind

A boarding group is not a guarantee. Both resorts say capacity is limited, late arrivals may not be accommodated and joining the queue does not guarantee you will be able to buy the featured merchandise, which Walt Disney World notes is sold only while supplies last. Disneyland lists the release on its virtual queue page as the Disney Lorcana Collection, so do not be thrown if you see that name instead of Hyperia City.

Lorcana keeps turning up at the parks. The game will also be the presenting sponsor when EPCOT Festival of the Arts returns January 15 for 2027.
